Top 10 Reasons to Eat More and Lose Weight

If you are reading this blog, than you have to be looking for an answer to a problem you are having in your life. I want you to be able to rid yourself of these problems and truly convince yourself that eating more and losing weight is truly the best thing for you do. There are a great many benefits to being fit other than just to lose weight; some are obvious and some not so obvious. Some are life saving, but all are necessary to truly be happy. I’m going to list 10 that the Mango Man, Wayne Pickering, founder of the Mango Man Diet believes are most important. I’ll focus on the first five and post them here, then follow up in another day with a second blog post on the other five to round it out to 10.

1. Gain Energy – So many fitness programs claim to help you lose weight and gain energy, yet in the end, you are more miserable than when you started. In order to keep up a weight program, it needs to not feel like a program at all. It needs to be something that makes you feel better, gain energy, have a better sex life, look better, etc. If you have the rewards listed above in your day to day life, than you will stick with the program. With a fitness program that consists of eating to lose weight rather than starving yourself to lose, you will gain tremendous benefits and rewards. Have fun with it and do the kind of fitness you love to do so you will miss it when you don’t.

2. Less Stress and Depression – In a world like today where technology makes the world run faster and faster, creating less time to relax, it is no wonder we have so much stress and depression. Working out is the best remedy for a stressed or depressed individual. Working out releases feel-good brain chemicals (neurotransmitters and endorphins) that ease depression, reduces immune system chemicals that can worsen depression, and increases body temperature creating calming effects. With the right workout program, you will look forward to working out without dreading it. Get bored easy with working out or feel like you are just being pushed too hard? Than you are not doing the workout meant for you. We will help you with that!

 3. Look great – Everyone wants to look good in their own body. Wouldn’t it be great if you could go to the store and everything you tried on looked good for a change? Wouldn’t it be great to walk into a room crowded with people and be able to walk with confidence? You can!

4. Greater Stamina, Endurance, Suppleness, Flexibility and Circulation – Play with your kids and not get winded, walk anywhere and everywhere and do it with ease, have fewer injuries, and so much more.

5. Longevity - Results of a study made by the National Health Interview Survey were published in a December 1999 issue of the New York Times. They kept tabs on about 7,000 people over a period of nine years and came up with some conclusions about what contributed to health and disease.

Among their findings:

• Men who never exercised were more than twice as likely to die prematurely as their active counterparts. Likewise, the death rate was double for sedentary women as compared with exercising women.

Regardless of your age and disposition there is a message in this: “Either make yourself fit or prepare for an early death!”
